My Story

In case we haven’t met yet, my name is Bev Ashdown.  My journey into the world of beauty began in 1993 when I took my very first nail technology course, and it didn’t take me long to become addicted. Since then, I have been inspired and taught by talented educators from around the globe.

Over the years, I have had the pleasure of training those who aspire to become professionals in the nail industry here at home at our prestigious Nail Academy, as well as internationally.  While the Nail Academy has closed, I still enjoy helping others by sharing my knowledge and continuing to mentor those who wish to excel at their craft. 

I have obtained my LEU bachelor’s degree from Light Elegance in Redmond Oregon as well as my Journeyman’s Certificate from the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission in 2017. I also follow all Health Canada guidelines to ensure you a clean, sanitary, and safe service.  The nail enhancement products I work with are the finest, and highest quality hypoallergenic Hema free products from the most reputable nail manufacturers in Canada, the U.S. and Europe.

My nail room is an intimate and cozy space that allows you to experience some much deserved “me” time.  I truly believe in quality over quantity and take pride in not rushing you in and out, but helping you relax while creating a lovely service as well as a beautiful set of nails that bring you joy. You can also be assured and confident that you will receive a clean, sanitary, and safe service as I follow all Health Canada guidelines.
